This year, the NanoCon Mk. VII Science-Fiction Convention begins on Friday, March 20, 2020, with the NanoCon International Film Festival (NIFF). The annual festival, now in its fifth season, is accepting submissions of short-subject films from all over the world.
Winning entries from this year's festival will premiere during two red-carpet events at the Wallenberg Auditorium, in the Rose Center for the Performing Arts, at Lower Columbia College.
The Premier Red-Carpet Opening of NIFF will be on Friday, March 20, 2020. Formal attire is preferred.
The Cosplay (science-fiction related costume), Red-Carpet Science-Fiction Awards will be occurring on Friday, March 27, 2020. Walk the red carpet with science-fiction characters and local celebrities.
- Festivities begin at 5:00PM with food and drink in the Rose Center for the Performing Arts.
- Films begin showing at 6:30PM and will continue through 9:30PM
